When our good friend Tony Lorino approached us, the brief was clear: capture the unmistakable energy of the era while matching Tony’s fast-paced, personality-driven presentation style.

This wasn’t about nostalgia alone. It was about recreating the bold attitude that defined radio at its peak during those decades. Big hooks, that unmistakable feel-good momentum that instantly transports listeners back to the golden era of pop and rock. The sound needed to feel familiar to fans of the format, yet polished and punchy enough to stand strong across modern stations in a wide range of markets. We created a core set of 8 custom cuts, each designed for maximum impact in short bursts of energy.
